Project: 5 Room Resale HDB
Location: Bishan St. 12

This 5-room resale HDB forms a bright, open home, where space, light, and
movement flow effortlessly. A light palette paired with simple detailing creates a calm, simple space.

A foyer with built-in storage and a settee forms a neat and welcoming entry, while a daybed by the window creates a quiet corner for rest.

The layout is opened up by merging the study with the living and dining areas, forming one continuous space with improved flow. A sliding glass door defines the kitchen, keeping it visually connected while allowing separation when needed.

Storage is kept flush along the walls for a clean, seamless look. The TV is recessed into the wall and paired with a low-profile console to reduce visual weight. Subtle niches, warm lighting, and a dedicated space for a robot vacuum are integrated to support daily living without adding clutter.

The master bedroom is reconfigured by combining the original layout with part of Bedroom 3, creating a more spacious and functional retreat. A compact helper’s room is positioned beside the kitchen, keeping daily routines practical and efficient.

Within the master bedroom, a walk-in wardrobe is paired with a full-height mirror featuring integrated lighting, enhancing both function and depth.

Full-height cabinetry maximises storage, while a study area by the window makes use of natural light for a more comfortable workspace. The sleeping area remains calm and restful.

A balance of comfort and simplicity, shaping a home that feels calm and easy to live in.
