The client’s brief for this 4 Room BTO unit was to create an open and spacious layout that would be ideal for hosting social gatherings. To achieve this, we decided to remove one of the rooms and create a communal area that would flow seamlessly with the rest of the space. We also incorporated concealed storage areas that would be connected to each other, enhancing the coherence and connectivity of the different zones.
The interior design style chosen for this unit was Modern Contemporary, which is characterized by simplicity, subtle luxury, and clean lines. To maintain the crisp, white finish, we introduced pops of color for contrast and used dark-toned wood finishes to add warmth to the overall space.
In essence, the key elements for this 4 Room BTO unit were to keep the design basic, bare, and bold in order to achieve a Modern Contemporary aesthetic.
